Other places to find apprenticeships

There are a wide range of apprenticeships available. Bigger companies advertise their vacancies independently and have varying closing dates, eg. BT, BP, British Gas, MOD, the banks, the larger supermarkets etc. It is advisable to keep a track of these opportunities on the individual company websites. It is advisable to register with the National Apprenticeship Service and browse their list of vacancies.

Recruitment Agencies

High Street recruitment agencies may require you to be 18 years old and have previous experience in the sector or a specific qualification. They can be very useful, particularly for temporary work. There are also specialist agencies such as ones dealing in driving, catering, finance and secretarial, construction and general warehouse and factory work.




Work Experience and Placements
