This course gives you the opportunity to learn how to operate a 35mm SLR including controlling exposure time and depth of field. You will be shown how to process your film and how to produce black and white prints in the darkroom. A range of darkroom techniques will be used including contrast control, dodging and burning. You will also learn various advanced darkroom techniques and special effects such as toning prints and multiple exposures.

Suitable for a range of abilities and those with no previous experience
You can bring your own camera if you have one or you can use one of ours all film is provided and darkroom chemical and paper. You are welcome to bring your own film to develop and negatives to print.
