With an extensive collection of books, theme-based magazines, e-books and digital resources, the Library caters for a wide range of academic and personal interests. It offers quiet and group study spaces, Mac, PC and laptop access, and expert staff ready to assist with research or finding the perfect resource.
Our Libraries and Learning Resources Centres provide a variety of resources and information to help you with your college work, support your hobbies, and help you relax in your free time.
We actively promote literacy and the love of reading and you'll find books, theme-based magazines, comic books and graphic novels, as well as DVDs and friendly staff who can help you find the information you need and support you with IT tasks, including printing and scanning on the Multi-Function Devices (photocopiers), laminating, and submitting assignments onto Turnitin.
We even have a small selection of stationery available to purchase at reasonable prices.
Staff and students can book laptops, PCs, Macs and booths within the Group Study Space using the computer booking system.
We also have small items like headphones which can be borrowed for use in the study spaces. Staff can also book and borrow other ILT equipment, including video camcorders, cameras and voice recorders.
We're not just digital! We have a range of traditional board games and playing cards so you can "de-tech" for a while.
You can access an almost endless supply of films, programmes and other media on this platform. And if you're a content creator, we can even give you an outlet for your work, to share with others.
Our 24/7 Library pages on Moodle will also provide you with access to over 15,000 eBooks, online magazines, films/programmes on Planet eStream, as well as various guides and other online resources.
Our Library Catalogue allows you to search for books, eBooks, and DVDs. You can also check what you have borrowed, renew your books and reserve books. Login with your normal Bath College login details.
Our online computer booking system allows those with an active student or staff ID to reserve a library computer in advance to ensure there will be a free space. Login with your normal Bath College login details.
Staff and students can also use the Library Catalogue to check and renew their loans, or reserve books for later collection. Log-in from the library catalogue homepage using your network username and password.
