Course Overview
The primary role of a network engineer is to design, install, maintain and support communication networks within an organisation or between organisations. Network engineers need to maintain high levels of operation of communication networks in order to provide maximum performance and availability for their users, such as staff, clients, customers and suppliers. They will understand network configuration, cloud, network administration and monitoring tools, and be able to give technical advice and guidance. Ideal for those with 12 months or more experience working in the Digital and ICT sector, this Level 4 apprenticeship programme is a great opportunity for apprentices that have already completed the Infrastructure Technician Level 3 apprenticeship programme or equivalent full-time study and would like to further enhance their knowledge and skills. This programme is ideal for young people with work experience right through to mature apprentices wanting to retrain.
