Our Holistic & Wellbeing Apprenticeship is your gateway to a fulfilling career, where you'll learn to create transformative wellbeing experiences in safe and private environments. From calming therapies to energising treatments, you'll gain hands-on expertise in holistic principles that nurture both body and mind.

This apprenticeship will help you explore therapy roles in Spa, Leisure, Holistic, and Wellbeing environments.

An apprenticeship is a real job where you learn, gain experience and get paid. You will be an employee with a contract of employment and holiday leave. By the end of an apprenticeship, you will have the right skills and knowledge needed in this field.

You will learn by attending theory lessons and by practicing on each other and clients in the employer setting. You will learn in our college Academy salon which is a realistic working environment. You will also practice at work alongside the course to gain strong industry development. Throughout the course you will build a service portfolio of client and therapist evidence of specfied ranges and criteria.  towards the end of the course, you will sit one extended practical assessment and a theory test.  You will be graded Pass, Merit or Distinction.

Achieved English and mathematics at Level 2.

For those with an education, health and care plan or a legacy statement, the apprenticeship's English and mathematics minimum requirement is Entry Level 3.

Anyone with a keen interest in providing a therapeutic spa experience for clients.

Applicants who would like to work within high quality spas and salons as an employee while attending college one day a week at Bath college.

An opportunity to be taught a variety of holistic therapies, such as Indian head massage, Hot stones, use of aromatherapy oils, holistic massage, zone therapy, sauna, steam and water therapies.

In addition to valuable employment at some of the most highly regarded therapy spas, you will work at a level 3 standard. The skills you develop during this course will give you excellent preparation for a career in the spa, wellbeing and  holistic therapy industry.

Students will be able to take additional courses in the half term holidays if they wish, such as Pregnancy Massage and Cancer Touch qualification.

Attendance on one day at Bath college to participate in theory and practical subject skills and knowledge.
