Bath College Case Study - Lemarnie Tizzard
In this Case Study we hear from T Level Transition Business student and aspiring Business owner, Lemarnie Tizzard. Lemarnie hopes to one day run her own business, and plans to move on to our brand new level 3 Marketing course starting this September. Hear more from Lemarnie herself below!
Q: Can you tell us a little about yourself?
"I’m 17 years old and I am currently on the level 2 Business course, and thoroughly enjoying it. I like reading and spending time with my family, and I'm a highly motivated person; I know what my goals are and how I need to achieve them."
Q: Why did you choose to study Business at Bath College?
"I chose Level 2 Business as it is the perfect starting place to achieve my goal in my future, of being a business owner! It's also really helped me come out of my shell and have a voice within lessons and gain confidence."
Q: What do you enjoy most about your course?
"I enjoy the assignments and being able to write my dream into a reality. The lecturers who teach me are wonderful and so helpful. They are helping me make my dreams into a reality, as well as always encouraging me to do my best."
Q: What made you choose Bath College?
"I chose Bath college as it gave me the chance to complete both my English and Maths, whilst still doing a level 2 course in my chosen career area."
Q: What do you intend to do with your new qualification and skills?
"With my new qualifications, I intend to progress on to the new Level 3 Marketing course in September, whilst completing my functional skills Maths level 2! Eventually I'd like to progress on to the T-Level Business Level 3. This is all to help me work towards owning my own business in the future!"
Q: What advice would you give to students interested in learning at Bath College?
"The advice I would give is, just do it! Apply for that course! I never would of seen myself doing this when I was home-schooled but now it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done; the experiences you have and friends you make are amazing! Stop second guessing, and apply!"
