Discover Art and Design at Bath College

Let your creativity shine at Bath College. Whether you’re a school leaver or an adult looking to express yourself, there are creative courses for everyone at Bath College, which you can pursue full-time, or choose to fit your studies around your busy life. The choice is yours.

Creative courses/Art and Design at Bath College

We offer Art and Design at levels 2, 3 and 4 (foundation), as well as Over 19s courses as part of our Adult Community Learning offering, in areas like Art Techniques, where you can hone your skills in Flower Print and Design, or even Building a Sketchbook.

The Art and Design Department at Bath College has an impressive offering. On a busy day, you’ll find our Level 3 Fashion and Textiles students making bespoke clothing in our studios, and working with screen-printing, where they transfer their designs onto textiles – a practice that many businesses and fashion brands employ in real life. For the business minded, we also offer Fashion and Business Retail (Level 2), with an eye on how this course links to future employment in the retail industry.

From Photography to Graphic Design, our courses encourage students to hone their interests and really specialise in their area of artistic talent. There are no limits to our student’s creativity, which is encouraged by our dedicated staff.

From traditional art to ceramics, there are plenty of artistic disciplines for the creative to get stuck into. Not interested in a full-time study programme? For adult learners, our Love2Learn leisure courses are a brilliant way for you to indulge your interests, learn new skills and meet like-minded individuals who have also embarked on a learning journey. There’s plenty on offer, like courses in Floristry and Sewing Skills.

20th June Art and Design Show

This is an exciting opportunity to showcase the hard work of our Level 3/2 Art and Design students, and we can’t wait to show everyone what they have created as part of their coursework.

You can expect to see work from students from the following courses: Art & Design, Photography, Fashion and Textiles, Fashion and Business Retail, and Graphic Design – so there will be plenty to see, and hopefully inspire!

We’ll release more details about the show on Social Media as we get nearer to the event.
