Course Overview

Challenging behaviour can have many possible causes. It could be childhood trauma, mental health issues, social depravation that causes a student, colleague or loved one to behave in challenging ways. This course will teach you about how effective communication, personal reflection, and positive support can help overcome challenging behaviour in school, the workplace or with loved ones. We would recommend this course to anyone who faces challenging behaviour as part of their work, studies or personal lives. This course is suitable for teachers, social workers, childcare professionals, line managers or HR professionals.

Learners start and complete our distance learning courses every day, all year, so there is no need to wait until term begins. The courses are designed to be ready when you are, so you can fit it into your schedule.

Study takes place in an online virtual learning environment (VLE) which allows convenient and flexible learning. We recommend spending 6-8 hours studying per week to ensure that you meet your assignment deadlines.
