Course Overview

The climate emergency has meant that now, more than ever, environmental awareness and sustainability has become crucial in businesses. Not only is there a need for awareness of responsibilities regarding “green” laws, but there are also many ways for businesses to reduce costs by eliminating waste. This course will give you the knowledge required to be a force for positive change in your organisation by learning how to reduce ecological impact by eliminating waste and encouraging green attitudes. We recommend this course to anyone who wishes to understand better what needs to be done to make an organisation more ecologically responsible. All organisations can benefit from this, but it may interest green charity workers, small to medium sized businesses (SMEs) and the self-employed. People wishing to improve their knowledge to gain employment will be well served by studying this course as many employers are looking for employees who value green issues.

Learners start and complete our distance learning courses every day, all year, so there is no need to wait until term begins. The courses are designed to be ready when you are, so you can fit it into your schedule.

Study takes place in an online virtual learning environment (VLE) which allows convenient and flexible learning. We recommend spending 6-8 hours studying per week to ensure that you meet your assignment deadlines.
