Course Overview

This course has been designed to support young people for whom English is not their first language. You will have an opportunity to study towards both English and Maths qualifications while also gaining an experience of some different vocational subject areas. This is a great starting point to build on effective communication in English whether online, in-person, for work or for further education.

There are no formal entry requirements, but you will need proof of right to study in the UK and be over the age of 16. You will also be required to complete a selection of initial assessments post enrolment.

How will I be taught and assessed?
You will be in college for maximum of 4 days a week. You will have lessons which are all in person with qualified ESOL specialist teachers and vocational specialists. You will take exams in English, Maths and complete coursework that may be both practical and theoretical.
