Electricians install, maintain and repair electrical systems in industrial, commercial, and domestic environments. Electrical equipment and systems include heating, lighting and power circuits, motors, cables, switches, isolators, controllers, and renewable energy technologies.
This 4-year study program is designed to enable you to develop all the
knowledge, skills and behaviours required to reach qualified electrician status,
becoming a key part of this essential industry.
To undertake this apprenticeship, you will need to be employed and working for a minimum of 30hrs per week with a qualified electrician that can provide the appropriate scope of work.
You will need Functional Skills Level 2/GCSE grade C/4 or above in English
and Maths.
