Course Overview

This construction industry recognised qualification at Level 1 is most suited for those aged 16-18. It will teach you the basics of Maintaining and using hand tools, preparing and using portable power tools, producing woodworking joints and the principles of building construction.

You will learn Health and Safety within the construction industry, and you could work towards gaining a CSCS card. This provides proof of an individual’s training, skills and ability to work safely on UK construction sites.
