Course Overview
Are you keen to start a hands-on career training in a purpose-built environment? This qualification allows the learner to acquire basic knowledge and craft skills of electrical installation. It does not require occupational evidence from the workplace so is suitable for learners who currently do not work within the electrical Industry and may wish to prepare for study at level 2. The qualification covers health and safety, environmental protection, installation methods, practical craft skills and electrical science.

How will I be taught and assessed?
This vocational qualification is taught through a mixture of practical and theory lessons, with further learning and understanding developed via directed self-study. Assessment consists of internally set coursework and assignments, in addition to externally set exams.

Are there any additional costs?
Learners must provide safety boots and ensure they have clothing that is appropriate for a workshop environment.
