What is the aim of the course?
Step Up is aimed at young people who have or are currently experiencing social, emotional, and/or mental health difficulties and are working at an academic level of around Level 1. Learners may have struggled in school or may have been unable to attend school due to their difficulties, meaning that they dont have the grades to access wider college programmes and need support in identifying their personal strengths and areas for development. Those who successfully complete their programme will achieve a nationally recognised qualification at the appropriate level.
