Do you want a career in the public services? The Level 3 Protective Services is for learners to progress to employment in the uniformed protective services as such as the police service, fire and rescue service, armed services and prison service.

How will I be taught and assessed?
This vocational qualification is taught through a mixture of practical and theory lessons, with further learning and understanding developed via directed self-study. Assessment consists of internally set coursework and assignments, in addition to externally set exams.
You will be able to progress on to the Uniformed Public Services Level 3 course or into junior-level positions in the uniformed services. After successful completion of Level 3, you will be able to access undergraduate courses at university. You can progress to employment in the uniformed services industry e.g. Police, Armed Services, Fire/Ambulance Service, Customs & Excise, etc.
Are there any additional costs?
£200 per year (£400 total) to cover a range of outward bound activities and an expedition undertaken in year 2 of the qualification
