Course Overview
This Advanced Glass Techniques leisure course is for students with prior knowledge of glassworking techniques and will include tutor support and the facilities to practice complex skills advanced glass techniques and processes. The tutor will also offer advice and encouragement for students to develop self-generated designs, leading to a professional standard of original glasswork. As this leisure course is not suitable for beginners, a telephone interview is required prior to enrolling to ensure you have the right level of experience.
What topics are covered?
The projects will be chosen by each student and cover a diverse range of glass processes. The timetable for the work will be managed by the students and access given to all college facilities. Firing of kiln formed glass will be undertaken by the Tutor alongside work from other classes, therefore it isnt possible for a student to fire individual pieces of work.

Your tutor will provide you with a list of additional resources you will need during the course such as A3 work books, digital camera, scissors, craft knife and various adhesives.
