Computers For Work (24/25)

Join our 3-session course designed for individuals eager to improve their computer skills for employment, volunteering, or personal use. Whether you're looking to boost your CV or enhance your everyday tasks, this course is perfect for you!

Classes are held in small, friendly groups, led by a supportive tutor who is dedicated to your success. You'll learn key IT skills that are essential for most office jobs, including effective document formatting in MS Word, creating and managing spreadsheets in MS Excel, creating charts to visualize data, and much more.

This course is ideal for learners with a basic understanding of MS Word (able to create simple documents) and MS Excel (able to use add, multiply, subtract, divide, SUM and AVERAGE functions).

Funding
If you are aged 19 or older, and are a UK national living in the UK or EEA for the last three years, you should be able to access government funding towards the cost of your course. Your course will either be free, or partially funded with a small fee to pay.

Free - if you are unemployed, looking for work and claiming benefits; Also, if you are employed & earning below 25k per year.

Partially Funded - if you earn 25,000 or more per year.

Not Funded - if you do not meet the residence requirements. You may be required to pay the full cost of your course, and will not be able to claim any government funding.

We will be able to advise you on your funding eligibility after you apply, but feel free to give us a call if you'd like to discuss your circumstances.
