Course Overview
The Air Source Heat Pump course, will be running from our Somer Valley Campus on a Wednesday evening for 5 weeks, students will learn the following:
How the preparatory work required for heat pump installation work and preparatory work required for the installation of an air source heat pump.
Understand the requirements to commission air source heat pump system installations (non-refrigerant circuits) and the requirements to handover heat pump system installations.
Plan and prepare, then Install an air source heat pump unit (non-refrigerant circuits).Test and commission an air source heat pump system.
Know the different operational characteristics of each type of heat pump unit and system arrangement.

To be eligible for this course you must be:
Over 19
Live or work in Bath and North East Somerset
Hold a relevant L2/L3 NVQ
Have a Water regulations qualification (if you don't hold one of these we may be able to support you in obtaining it)
