Free Soft Skills Certificate for people living or working in the West of England

The West of England Institute of Technology (WEIoT) has launched a new “soft skills certificate” to enable people to gain the soft skills and certified credentials requested and recognised by local employers.
Enhancing soft skills such as Teamwork, Adaptability and Critical thinking can enable individuals to work more effectively and collaboratively with colleagues to enhance and progress careers.
A new course launching at Bath College to help men return to the workplace

A new free course run by the Adult Community Learning department here at Bath College is designed to help men improve their employment prospects and return to the workplace. Momentum is designed to give men the tools and confidence that they need to take the next step towards employment.
Bath Half 2022 Was A Running Success!

Bath College were once again the proud sponsors of the Bath Half Family Fun Run and the official massage tent at the Bath Half Marathon.
This year's event was held over two days with the base/Runners' Village in Royal Victoria Park.
On Saturday, our marquee was full of family-friendly activities with a College Careers dress-up box, some animal critters, a criminology crime scene and an impressive array of face painting and hair glitter from the Beauty dept.
Congratulations to Bath College Graduates

Higher Education graduates from Bath College celebrated their success at their Graduation Ceremony last week.
The students dressed in mortar boards and gowns gathered at The Assembly Rooms to collect their certificates.
The students have all completed degree level and higher education courses, including programmes validated by the University of Bath and The University of Gloucestershire, amongst others.

Bath College, providers of vocational and academic further education, has confirmed its ongoing support for the Bath Half Marathon.
This year’s Family Fun Run is again sponsored by Bath College, who are also providing massages in the Runner’s Village to those who are running the half marathon the following day.
The BATHALF Family Fun Run returns in 2022 in a new format, as the highlight of the new community day in Royal Victoria Park on Saturday 15 October, the day before the half marathon.
Bath College state of the art creche enables parents to learn English

Bath College has a brand new creche that opened this academic year for the students on Childcare and Early Years courses to learn in.
Recognising that there are many parents who wish to do the ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) course, for whom childcare was a real barrier to them being able to attend, the College set up free creche sessions to coincide with the ESOL classes.
Volunteering at the RUH inspires the next generation of Nurses

The Royal United Hospitals (RUH) Bath NHS Foundation Trust has partnered with Bath College to help health and social care students gain valuable experience through volunteering at the hospital.
Student volunteers are not involved with any medical care but provide a valuable support service to patients and staff, which includes light cleaning, serving drinks to patients and providing a listening ear.
