Course Overview

This Level 1 language course is perfect if you have little or no previous knowledge of the language. By the end of the course, you will be able to take part in simple conversations and understand everyday information. The Beginner level consists of two parts, followed by a consolidation course; it is recommended that you attend both parts before joining the consolidation course.

How will I be taught and assessed?

This course is a mixture of theory and practical sessions and you will be expected to fully participate in both. This course is for students with some basic previous knowledge of Italian. The main 4 skills of listening, writing, speaking, and reading will be covered. The teacher will use a course book but will supply copies from this and other sources. By the end of this course, you will be able to communicate at a basic level in different everyday situation.
