Why study at Degree Level with Bath College?
There is a whole range of reasons to study at a Degree Level with us here at Bath College. Besides being cheaper and having smaller class sizes, we are also a West of England Institute of Technology, and can provide technical higher learning in new, innovative, exciting spaces. We work directly with local industry to ensure you are prepared to enter your chosen field of work when you finish your studies, and to equip the local community with the skills to thrive and grow in areas such as digital and emerging technologies.

We offer the the Higher National Certificate in Business, this is a full time programme run over one year at our City Centre Campus.

Funding & Fees
There are different routes to funding depending on which type of student you are. If you have any questions about funding and fees, you can contact our Student Advice team by either emailing info@bathcollege.ac.uk or calling 01225 328 720.
Student Finance England
Higher Education students can apply for a loan to pay for tuition fees and a maintenance grant/loan for living expenses. The amount you can borrow depends on the income of your parents or if you have been financially independent for the last 3 years then your own income. All applications for the UK are processed centrally so ensure you apply early, and provide all required information to avoid delays. To find out more about Student Finance England, click here. College Bursaries
If you are enrolled on one the College’s HE courses (a course that is not linked to Bath University, Bath Spa or UWE) then you may be eligible for additional help. Please come into our Student Advice Centre for further help and advice about funding. Alternatively you can call us on (01225) 328 813 or email studentfunding@bathcollege.ac.uk.

UCAS Extra & Clearing
UCAS Extra is the next step if you’ve already applied through the standard UCAS route but haven’t received an offer you’re happy with. It lets you apply to additional courses one at a time. In order to use UCAS Extra you need to meet certain criteria. If you’ve used all five of your choices and you’re not holding any offers, or you’ve declined any that you’ve received, you’ll be able to use Extra to apply to our courses. It’s free to use and if you’re eligible, a UCAS Extra option will automatically appear when you sign into UCAS Track.
