Course Overview
This course is designed for people who are becoming independent speakers of
French.
You will develop your expression and comprehension skills on a wide
range of topics.
This will take place through a variety of contexts and with
the support of authentic materials to develop your cultural capital. You will be
able to analyse the language within a cultural context to develop your
confidence, lexicon and grammatical foundations in order to express your ideas
and opinions, to seek information and to respond to speakers in French.
By the end of the course, you will generally feel more at ease in a French
speaking environment.
You will be able to tell and understand simple stories,
speak about your future projects, holidays, career in more detail and speak
about your past and personal background.
You will be able to start watching
movies, read novels & listen to the radio in French.
The Intermediate level consists of two parts, followed by a consolidation course; it is recommended that you attend both parts before joining the consolidation course.
