They provide a quality service, whilst working to the highest standards and continuously developing their personal and professional skills. An Advanced and Creative Barber Professional works in the hair industry, which is one of the largest, most trusted and fashion forward professions. They take ownership of their work and client lists, accept responsibility, are proactive, flexible and adaptable, plan their work and time, they aim for excellence by taking exceptional pride in their work and industry. The work environment can be varied in size, style and ambiance, from a bespoke salon, the media industry, cruise ships, product houses and manufacturers to luxury high-end barber shops. They are highly skilled and experienced individual professionals who deliver hair fashion forward trends, which are innovative styles inspired by current images and their own creativity, individual flair, imagination and interpretation. Ideal for those with 12 months or more experience working in a Barbers or similar environment, this Level 3 apprenticeship programme is a great opportunity for apprentices that have already completed the Level 2 Barber Professional apprenticeship programme or equivalent full-time course and would like to further enhance their knowledge and skills. This programme is ideal for young people with work experience right through to mature apprentices wanting to retrain.

Apprentices without level 2 (GCSE 4/C) in English and Maths will need to achieve this level prior starting the apprenticeship programme.
Apprenticeship Standard Level 3 Level 3 Diploma in Advanced and Creative Hairdressing
Classroom and work based teaching and assessment to monitor, knowledge, skills and behaviours to ensure industry competencies.
Ongoing Professional CPD
Commitment to attend each session in college uniform and with a full hairdressing kit (details of this at time of enrolment).
Willingness to work on members of the public in our Real Working Environment
(RWE) client sessions in a professional manner.
