This 4-year study program is designed to enable you to develop all the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to reach qualified electrician status, becoming a key part of this essential industry.

To undertake this apprenticeship, you will need to be employed and working for a minimum of 30hrs per week with a qualified electrician that can provide the appropriate scope of work.

You will need Functional Skills Level 2/GCSE grade C/4 or above in English and Maths.

To train you with the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to work in the electrical industry as a fully qualified, time served Level 3 Electrician.
You will complete a 4-year apprenticeship, attending college one day per week through term time in years 1 -3, during which you will be taught by our team of fully qualified and experienced electrical lecturers/assessors and assessed through on-line and written exams and assignments plus practical assessments in our modern well-equipped workshops. In Yr4 you will be based totally in the workplace where you will produce an NVQ portfolio of evidence to showcase your practical skills and be assessed by one of our electrical assessors. Once this is complete, you will be entered for a final, 2.5day End Point Assessment at an independent assessment centre.
Post qualification, there are further courses available to help you develop an industry specialism, for example: Inspection & Testing, EV charging, renewable technologies.
